The deal was licensing the name and logo for a percentage of the sales. It was actually very lucrative for Altec Lansing OKC. Although the deal may have been signed in 1986 (if it was it was late 1986), products did not go to market until 1988. I remember this because they had, and still have, a telephone number that reflected the year . . . . 1-800-ALTEC-88
